Kenessov B.N. conducts research in the field of analytical chemistry and ecology, developing new methods, materials, and equipment for chromatographic analysis of environmental objects, food products, petroleum products, and others. From 2017 to 2020 and from 2020 to 2024, he was the director of the Center for Physico-Chemical Methods of Research and Analysis. Since 2010, he has been a member of the American Chemical Society. Currently, he has more than 100 publications, including over 40 articles and reviews in international journals from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) database of Web of Science, more than 20 of which are in journals from the first quartile by impact factor. He is also the director of the Analytical Center for Scientific and Scientific-Technical Development of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
