The laboratory has developed analytical methods that allow the determination of:

Abbreviations: SPME - solid-phase microextraction; GC - gas chromatography; MS - mass spectrometry; HPLC - high-performance liquid chromatography; NPD - nitrogen-phosphorus detector; FID - flame ionization detector.

Developed the following screening methods:

  • Transformation products of 1,1-dimethylhydrazine in soil and water by HS-SPME-GC-MS method
  • Oil products in soil and water by SPME-GC-MS method
  • Volatile organic compounds in air by SPME-GC-MS method
  • Volatile organic compounds in food products by SPME-GC-MS method
  • Volatile organic compounds in alcoholic beverages (vodka, brandy, whiskey, etc.) by HS-SPME-GC-MS method

Developed the following software:

  • Determination of the component and fractional composition of oil and petroleum products based on GC-MS analysis results
  • Statistical analysis using principal component methods, hierarchical clustering, linear discriminant analysis for grouping samples based on chemical analysis results
  • Determination of concentrations of individual hydrocarbon groups in gasoline (MS Excel module)
  • Verification and export of references to the Crossref database (for scientific journals)
